Just as the consumer product giant is planning to cut as many as 100 of its brands, some of its spokespeople will also be on their way out. Procter & Gamble has announced that it will cut back on its brand ambassadors as a way to simplify advertising and lower costs.

Among those who will retain their status are P&G’s two main global spokespeople for one of its billion-dollar brands, Head & Shoulders—Lionel Messi and Sofia Vergara. The two will serve globally, rather than P&G naming multiple spokespersons for various regions around the world.

Shorter ads “with higher impact” are also reportedly in the works.
